Can someone identify this plant and if It needs Co2? I have no co2 injection in my tank currently, I got this off a buddy of mine for free, so I took it and figured what the heck, lets see if It grows.

Its certainly some for of Echinodorus, hard to give an exact type could be Echinodorus argentinensis. What ever it is it should be easy to grow. CO2 is not essential, it would help to give it a rich substrate as all Echinodorus are heavy root feeders.

Nice plant by the way.

Def an echindorus of some time. The leaves are in its emergent form, they'll change over time to underwater leaves, it'll be easier to identify with some underwater leaves present.
