Rasboras are a group within the old barbs grouping. But Sawbwa aren't really Rasboras - that's more a hobby thing. If you look at it, defining barbs is hard, except for many having barbels. Cyprinidae as a category makes more sense, but it isn't very catchy for a contest!
Looking at the invite for this month, barbs aren't a species as written. They're a category for a lot of species, but that category doesn't make a lot of sense anymore. Rather than trying to define is, all Cyprinidae should be good.
