Fish Crazy
Alright... I have many assorted plants in my tank. Most are the bulbs you can get at walmart in those packages which now seem to have no issues growing now that the tank is set up and I am adding frits.
I went out and finally got the seachem flourish and flourish excel. Started dosing with that today. The API liquid carbon seems to not to be the best along with the fritz I was using ( tetra and some other weird name one which I can not recall off hand right now ) . I have had algea issues. Also finally added a circulator to the mix too for water movement.
Anyways, this is the light section so here is my question.
72 gallon bow front.
I have 2x 2 bulb shop lights on it. They sit about 6 inches from the surface of the water.
I currently have 2x 40 watt T12 grow lights found here : http

also 1x Daylight bulb http

I have then gone out and got a Aqua glo light bulb ( had a pair but before I could get the other one in, my elder cat decided she wanted attention and knocked it over and broke it! ) So I only have one of these : http

I plan one getting at least one more of the Aqua glow bulbs to have a pair. will this be enough?
Also, I would also be willing to get some more Aqua light bulbs. There is the power glo bulbs or even the life glo 2 bulbs. My concern is enough wattage on top the right lights for growth.
