Well, tomorrow I'm planning to go get some froggies. (I'm so excited! After seeing how my frog eats his bloodworms, I wonder how active the others will be!)

I have a 29g tank, with a bunch of little fishes.

Only one is adult size.
(One Black Skirt Tetra.)

The rest are still in their golden ages.
(Honey Dwarf Gourami
Bala Shark
2x Swordtails
Black Skirt Tetra )

Is that enough? I'm mainly worried about the bala shark when its fully grown. Currently, when its fully grown the bala shark will have a good amount of space. But, could I add more fishes? They all only stay in the middle and top.( except the swordtails, they go everywhere! )

Also, how long would it take a bala to grow to adult size? Mine is still young and about 2-4 inches.

first off, bad news.. sucks, i had to go through hearing it before.. the bala sharks gunna get too big and should be relocated asap so that it will grow efficiently and quickly. how long will be effected on if it is in a proper tank or not, also balas like groups of 3+. i would concentrate on that problem first and formost. once that is taken care of, maybe some more tetras, and possibly a few female honeys if ud like. remember tetras are schooling fish, like to be in groups, and thats a good sized tank so my recommendation would be build on numbers with the fish you have, but like i said, sadly, because of them preferring numbers, and their size, the balas gunna be an issue.

The balla shark...

Size: Up to 16" (40cm), females smaller
Tank: 48 inches, 72 inches + for adults
Strata: All, mostly middle
PH: 5.8 to 7.8
Hardness: Soft to medium. dH range: 5.0 - 15.0
Temperature: 72ºF to 84ºF (22-29°C)

I think it will need rehoming once it gets bigger..

without the shark though you could fit about 20 fish in it, if was just things like swordtails, you could easy push to 25 with a well established filter and regular weekly water changes.

ya know, i hate to play this card, but with the sharks, your way over stocked. :/
i'm not an frog, or invertabrit fan

No worries. My tank can fit an adult bala shark fine with plenty of room. My friend asked if I could take care of his. *Full grown*

It fit fine, and was very active and friendly with my bala shark and fishes.

:) Anyways, still. Should I just leave the fish and get frogs? I have plenty of room at the bottom. Most my fish dont even use. The only fish that even go down there are the two frogs, and usually the shrimp hangs upside-down from my miniature bridge.

My Gourami hides behinds the plants with my swordtail fry (two weeks and still alive, i cant believe he took a bloodworm and wedged it between two gravel rocks for food. o_O;) :hey:
