In my 10g tank at the moment, I have an Interpet IPF Mini... which I have found out shouldn't really be cutting it, in terms of adequate filtration.
So i'm in the market for a new one. I've heard good things about Eheim filters, so I checked them out and will either go for the 2006 or the 2008.
2006 is for aquariums up to 45litres (which mine is exactally), and the 2008 is for 30-60litre aquariums.
Would it be a better idea to go for the 2008 rather than the 2006?
My other querys were, does anyone own either of these models already? I was wondering how quiet they are. In terms of buzzing, humming e.t.c... My filter's motor provides a quiet hum which is fine, but every so often the motor starts buzzing which I can't get to sleep to!
Last question, which is maybe a stupid one... but does the 2008 come with filter media in it? Or do you have to buy that seperately.
