Would it be foolish to have a few peacock endlers in with a male betta? Iknow you can't have guppies with them but endlers are less showy.

Honestly, I wouldn't put anything with a male betta. I wouldn't hesitate with a female, but not a male. Males can be complicated when trying to figure out their brain. LOL

If you're going to try it, make sure you have something suitable to put the betta in if you have to remove him. Watch them carefully and keep an eye out for any nips or rips in their fins. Some betta boys do okay in a community tank but some just can't handle it. I have had 30+ boys over the last 5 years and only 2 of them were compatible in a community tank.

i wouldnt even put them with females they can be just as bad as males

only one of my boys can go in a community tank

id have a tank on stand by just incase for your betta!
