Endler's Hang Out

I've been reading up on Endlers, and I'm wondering what level in the tank they live in? I have a 30 USG long, with 14 neons, and five corys, and I'm looking for some fish for the mid and top region.

ye they are mid and surface fish, but they will go every where so not a strict surface fish.

i have mine in a standard 55gallon, they swim at all parts

Its mainly at the top third, i noticed the females stay lower and eat more on the plants, but they do swim just about everywhere to be honest.
