I've had my Endler's 23 hours in my planted PFK nano, and already they've had babies! around 12 I think! Isn't it amazing, they survived the journey from my LFS, settled, and gave birth, all in under a day! (I have 3 females and 3 males)

i've been waiting since the end of summer for 3 of my females to have babies...

i think there just fat now

i want to use endlers in the strain i'm working on. if you have more near spring or summer i may be interested in them, or the babies that were born now when there older. if you would want to sell a few ;)

can u get a better pic of your endlers.

The size and colour in the dorsal would suggest that their a guppy cross.

Good to see they fry doing well, and their good pics of the fry.

Hello Alan

Do you mean the Male Endler on the right of the pic? Coz the one on the left just looks like a normal male Endler to me???

Thanks, to my knowledge the Endler's are pure-bred. My LFS is generally very reliable like that. I will try to get better pics. Puddle_inc, I'd love to sell you some fry, hopefully they'll survive, but whenever I have some fully grown I'll let you know. You'd need to collect however, I'm in Essex. PM me if you need more details, or else we can get back in touch when they grow up a bit.

Sorry, who's Alan? Oh, and is this picture any better?

I think that the V shaped tail colouring is quite clear that they're Endler's.

I'm Alan.

I'll suspect your endlers are a cross with wild guppies, this is very common, i had a cross many years before lurning it was a cross my self.

The females look to large, to much colour in the dorsal fin, Do they have a Black line in in degree's what angle would u say it it?

The top male looks more like a a proper endler. But a cross has been introduces somewhere I'm sorry to say.

If you rearly want to lurn about endlers then try out endlers-r-us.co.uk

Ye it's almost surly a cross then, most true endlers apart from the white peacock have a line at an angel of 45 degree's although some early crosses with endlers will also show this trate as well.

same thing happened to me i put a female guppy in to my tank and it was only like half pregnant but within the first day she gave birth to 18 fry.

yeah, it does kinda look like a cross. i can't collect sorry, two reasons. one, i can't drive yet, two, i live in the united states, indiana. i don't know where essex is but i am guessing it's out of the states, and if it's not i doubt it's near indiana.

wish i could though. your adults are very pretty.

PS: anyone know a good place online to get them?

Those look like crosses from my recent readings on Endlers, thanks to that link given in a previous thread by helterskelter. Either way, they are great looking fish. Good luck with them.

Thanks, to be honest I'm not overly fussed with them not being "pure". They look nice to me, and that don't shout out "I'm a guppy-cross," when I look at them.
