Endler With Dropsy

Ok, my male endler has dropsy - swollen stomach, pineconed scales etc.

Unfourtunately I cannot go to the lfs for a while, so was wondering if there is anything I could use from home that would help (peas, or something like that).

I do have aquarium salt, if that helps.

Stocking is in my sig, I don't think salt would effect anything in there?

Edit: Just to say he's eating normally, but has slightly subdued colouring and isn't that active (mind you, he wasn't before!)

Once scales stick out last stage of dropsy, organ failure.
Epson salt baths, bacterial med in issolation.

What are your water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
