Endler Stocking

hey all!!!

i was just pondering as to how many endlers i could stock in a 10gal
i know of the 1 inch per gal "guideline" but obviously different fish have different waste levels so i want to ask the experts
it is a mature heavily planted with high filtration and stocked so far with only 4 endlers as 1 was killed by my betta then the betta got moved to a new tank

Well if you are planning on all males and your maint. is good you can do 20 to 25 pretty easily. But if you are going to have females also, I would just add 4 females and in a short time your tank will be very full.

i would also say about 20 aslong as this is the only fish (and only males) and you gradually build this up over a few months. Otherwise, get 1 male & 3 female and you will soon have plenty!

sorry,just checked and it is 7.9gal or 30 litres

lol i am a fool

i do 2 30% waterchanges a week
and it would be a male only tank

go with about 15 but go with the advice i gave earlier.

Dont have female endlers anyway-they are brown and drab ,stick with the males they are smaller and most colourful.
