So today is Halloween, it's also my sister's birthday, lol,
anyways, I went to check on my endlers to see how they were doing, I noticed one of the three was really skinny again, but I couldn't find any fry,.. I came back home from work, checked, and I found a little fry! :hyper:
I scooped the fry up and put it in my fry tank, I noticed the other female is huge! like she's going to have them any minute now it looks like! And her gravid spot is pitch black. So I put her in the fry tank too (in a big breeding trap) just till she gives birth (or until tomorrow) I know breeding traps aren't good for fish, but I've used them many times and none of my pregnant females have ever died being in them. (that and the fact that my other male fish were severely harrasing her) :(
Anyways, I thought it was cool that my endler had her fry on halloween and that it's my sister's birthday as a bonus! tehe

My experience with endlers is that they are not fry eaters. You might try releasing that female and watching her for a bit but I would expect the fry to be safe with her.

Ya, the only thing is I have 2 loaches, 4 mollies, and a gourami in with her, so I'm not sure if they'd eat the babies...

oh, sorry, yes, she is, but I thought you meant if I let her out in the main tank, sorry oldman! I got confused myself!
Yes, I have the 2 month old and 1 month old fry, (that are big enough) but if take her out of the breeder, and just leave her in the fry tank, she should be fine? How do I clean the tank after? Cuz I always seem to be missing fry after I clean the tank, (gravel vac it)

Gravel vac and use a clean bucket to catch the water. Have a close look into the bucket before you dump it and scoop any escapees back into the fry tank.
