I was looking at a tankful of endlers last weekend at a local shop in Cardiff. They looked great but i didn't buy any but got some freebie fry that were in there.I'm keeping them in a small tank on their own but now i've got some platie fry. Will it be ok to mix them together? The platie fry look about the same size.

They should be okay. However, if it ever seems the Endlers could fit in the Platies' mouths, you might want to seperate them just so you don't have to risk the Endlers getting eaten. I have personally never had a problem with fry eating smaller fry, but you never know. :)

Congrats on the new Endler kids though! :D

Thanks.
I have noticed the platie fry, although tiny, are fighting amongst each other which is why i asked.I'll try mixing them today.

I have endler fry in my tank with platies and their fry too. There's no trouble. They were all born in that tank and have remained in there with some big tankmates (See 55g in profile). The males are just beginning to develop their colours now so given a month I think they'll be looking stunning. :shifty:
Hugs,
P.
