It would be perfect! An index for fish, just type in the scientific name or go through a list asking size, speed shape coloration, etc, and that is good!

Well, there are a couple of options here (I'm a nerd so I know of the latest PDAs :nerd: )

I have Palm TX: $299

It can surf the internet and all the goodies involved with a mobile computer. Mail, internet, notes, pictures, music, everything is all on this. It has a SD card slot on the top so you can expand its memory. I believe the biggest SD card that I have seen is 4GB. It has wireless b technology for internet built in. I herd there was a SD card expander that would also pick up g, but I am not sure. But think of it this way. Most routers out there are both b/g. So when you are at the pet store you may be able to pick up McDonald's wifi or your libraries wifi. All you have to do now is find a really good website. Liveaquaria.com and our forums database would be good ones to make icons on your main menu for.

Now there is another option but I don't care for these.

They are called 'internet tablets'.

Here is a link to one: Link

Just remember, all you need is a wifi space for these and you are all set to roam the internet anywhere you want.

Hope this helped! :)

I use this beast. Free as well. It has a slide out keyboard and doubles as a phone and GPS.

Eeeee *runs away from the price tag*
Very nice! Must have cost a fortune though

It was free with the mobile phone contract I am on. I doubt I would pay for an un-subserdised one, I just couldn't afford one. They are definitely worth it though. They are made by HTC and marketed under other brand names, probably cingular or I-Mate in your neck of the woods. If you are due a mobile upgrade then now the time may be to look.
