i have a 90 us gall tank. im not sure what to get. i want some odd fish or new word cichlids. i love BIG fish.

for cichlids i was thinking oscar, green terror, and jacks,

odd i dont really know i like the bichir and eels

what you guys think? i need help.

can you guys give me come conbination? odds and new world cichlids. or all oddball.

In terms of a new world cichlid I would go with an oscar. A bit more waste, but would be less aggressive choice. For an odd ball I'd go with a Fire eel.

I agree, Oscars would be good in that size tank.

Just make sure you have plenty of filtration if you decide to go with Oscars.

How aggressive do you want to go?
Also what are the dimensions ?

Relatively peaceful example
1x Chocolate Cichlid
2x Geophagus sp
1 x Severum
1x Brown knife
1x Senegal or Palmas Bichir
3x Reed fish

1 Delhezi Bichir
1 Oscar
1 Crenicichla sp.
1 Shovelnose Cat
5 SDs

Aggressive setup example
1 Texas cichlid
1 JD
2 Leporinus
9 large GDs

thanks and doesnt really matter how agresive. as long as they get along... i want a few fish. but i want big ones

personally id base it around a severum . good size fish plenty of options for tankmates. with a sev you could have things like blue acara firemouth t-bar cichlid . also severums are just as much fun as oscars but a lot less messy and in my opinion much nicer looking

The dimensions are 48" x 18" x 24".

i think im going to get a red oscar, an albino oscar, green terror or jd

and maybe bichir and deff a pleco

Seconded, would love to have either a sev or an oscar but the sev's are gorgeous - especially if you can find a wild one.
