Empty 5 Gallon

Hey,

Ive got an empty 5 gallon tank and I wanted some suggestions on what to put in it. I deffinately want some ADFs, I was thinking a betta but I want to use it as a fry tank too when i get some.

Anyway suggestions are welcome

hey come on orange shark, he was only trying to be funny. anyway, aside from the boring betta etc why don't you get a killifish of some sort? I like clowns personally.

killifish sound good but i doubt theyd have any in my lfs,but i did see a killifish in the display tank wednesday. Ill have a look. Can killifish live in a 5 gallon or would they need something bigger?

what about some livebearers? or a type of schooling fish? or maybe, a quarrantine tank? (prob not)

a pair of killis would be ok in that tank (depending on species)

or i guess you could consider doing a normal planted tank, or a heavyily planted tank? That would look cool with neons!

What about a nano tank? always good to look at.

A nano what?

Nano refers to the size of the tank.

Neons won't go in either, too active, and need to be in shoals.
You could get a small pair of killis in there, but I wouldn't.

I'd either heavily plant it with one DP, or use it as a hospital tank, which you might need when cycling with fish
