I know I had some palmeri in this tank, but I added a dozen of what were supposed to be Rainbow Tetras ( lacortei ) a while back, they were only available as tiny wild caught... I could definitely see they were not all lacortei, in the group when they arrived... there appeared to be some palmeri mixed in, and one or two that looked like lapis... I'm hoping there will at least be several lacortei in the group as they mature enough, to truely identify...
lacortei ( Rainbow Tetras )
palmeri
lapis
and finally a couple pictures of my tank this morning... when the "emperor types" were smaller, they stayed in a shoal with all the mixed tetras, to the lower right... as they get older they are moving up more in the tank, and starting to hang out in the middle, away from the mixed shoal. and they are getting closer to being able to properly identify them...
