i've heard that doesn't work, if your filter isn't cycled and you added all the fish at once, if might be causing the nitrate spike.

fish not added at once tank was cycled
then added 6 mollies 3 white and 3 black waited 2 weeks and added 3 algie cleaners and 6 more small fish and thats it filter is matured im sure

but did last week take out filter and cleaned it but in tank water also added synthetic filter wool to filter

Well after doing a water change my water readings are

NO2 0.1

and

NO3 5 Major improvement

But please answer me why did it rise so much worst its ever been and spec only after doing a change 4 days ago

should i do a 20% - 30% change daily all the time or not

PLEASE ALSO TELL ME THE BEST BIO TO GET AND ILL GET IT TODAY

im going to go out ona limb and say the tank is not cycled fully..

when u first finish cycling a tank put a few fish in then ad more over time dont drop about 10 in and expet it to handle all that from the get go even if you think its fully cycled .

The 1st fish is an endler, pretty hardy fish, very nice to. I cant seem to find any any where!

2nd picture, Hmm not sure what that is. Doesnt look like my mollies but there are different types?

test your water dailey to keep tabs of Nitrates. All I add in a water change is water treatment/chlorinator.

Hope things stay settle for you.

High nitrates could be due to overfeeding as well. I know that's what happened in my tank.
My nitrates got upwards of 50+ and someone on another forums suggeseted that I might be overfeeding.
I cut back on feeding, did a good gravel vac and haven't had a problem since.

Really? Never knew that. I thought amonia peaks were from over feeding? Good to know though for future reference
