Emergency - Help Needed For This Weekend

Ok the emergency is this.

I have purchased a very large tank and fozzy_wozzy_woo was traveling from the netherlands to help me pick it up as he has a HGV licence. (its a big tank) (3 members and 3 family will be picking it up) with electrical lifts etc...

the Emergency is. as fossy has now been banned from the site I have no contact with him and if I cant contact him, then he doesnt know where I live and I dont know how to contact him. I have asked the moderators for the email but no one has contacted me back.

I may lose the aquarium as I will not be able to pick it up. The people I am buying the tank from cant keep the tank and will have to throw it away as they are moving the same weekend.

Is there any members that can drive a hgv that can help who lives in the Wirral area?

Any ideas

p.s the tank isnt that big but the tank and frame and bio system are all connected which is making it around 2500 kg

You could contact a haulage company but it will be expensive.

I know next to nothing about the Netherlands so please excuse my ignorance. I know hgv is similar to our CDL for big trucks. Do You have the equivalent of U-Haul or Avis truck rentals? They're cheaper than haulers some trucks all you need is a drivers license rental fee and deposit. Also have you tried the member's page info to contact him? It has home page and email listed.

yea we have a rental companies here in the UK but he had arranged heavy lifting equipment for free that will pivot on the spot and it will move up and down.

see the aquarium is going to weigh around 2500kg, no trailer would lift this and my car wouldnt be able to hold the breaking speed.

Well Fozzy Contacted me on Friday via telephone. I dont know how he found out my name andd address but i am pleased. Thanks Fozzy (When you read this)...

Thanks to the moderators..... Not..... you could have cost me over 600 pounds because you didnt help me... i dont beleive you did that to me.

infact I tried to pay fozzy for the rental of the equipment and his air fare but he reused to accept it. All he said was that the best payment or him was that I help some one else in need.

He still says this is the best forum around and dispite that he has been band he says that this should not deter me from using this site as a tool.

I dont know what he did but if you can afford to lose a member that will help me like this then i cant wait to see how the other members will help as he was a real asset

thanks I will enjoy it and yes he is very unique. He was so polite, but man was he massive... wow 6ft 3in and he picked up things that took two of us to pick up.

I woulnt want to meet him on a dark street. But he had a heart of gold.

from what i could gather he was quite upset that he had been banned. I didnt think that a guy like that could be dented or hurt like that....

I dont know as he wont tell me as he told me that what happend was between him and the other person.

But i think it had something to do with a member posting something telling him that the gulf war sysndrom that he is suffering from is fake and that the drugs they pumped him with have damaged his way of thinking.

also that his friends that have died from the GWS didnt die from that and that he would have to be stupid to think the government would do somthing like that.

but Im not goin to comment on it as I may get banned.
