Emailed When Responde To Your Topic

I think that you should automatically be sent emails every time someone responds to your topic. Hope this is in the right section.

I think that would get quickly annoying. I mean you could be 5 pages deep in it. That's a lot of emails

Isn't that what happens if you follow a topic?

If you bring up your settings by clicking on your name at the top right you should be able to get to notification options on the left side. Lots of settings in there that you can mess with.

Or you can click on 'my content' under your name to see if others have posted.

I have mine set to follow any topic I post in automatically.

You must get loads of emails then!!!

Yes...yes I do. But it's the only way I can remember which threads I'm interested in. If I lose interest then I un-follow it.

There's a natty little option if you click the drop down arrow next to your name - it offers Content I Follow and any thread with new posts you haven't read is highlighted only once even if there are several posts but selecting one only takes you to the beginning of the thread not to the latest post. I just got rid of my email option as I was having to delete pages of unread emails every day!

I know, but email is the best method for my habits. I have a folder where all forum related emails are automatically put so they don't get mixed in with my others.
