I am currently having an outbreak of white spot in my tank. I have read that the carbon in the filters take the meds out the water which i obviously dont want to do just now. The carbon is fitted into the stingray filters in like little cages, one at each side of the filter. Does anyone know if these can be easily removed?? And how to do this? I noticed that they sell replacements so there must be a way to remove them but on first glance i cannot see how to and dont want to break my filter.
Also does anyone know if the meds for treating whitespot will hurt my fry?
Thanks
