I'm wondering about getting one, I am getting a small tank to put the fish in for a bit just to get rid of any infections etc. then adding fish to my tank, i'm thinking about getting this fella but I am unsre whether to or not

They grow to 9 inches - do you have a tank large enough to accomodate this?

Define what you think a small aquarium is?

These fish regualarly grow a min. of 9inchs and need an aquarium with a min. of 45gals of water.

They are also very sensitive to water quality. They used to use them in industry as 'canaries' to alert people of bad water quality.
