Electricity Bills for your tank

Hi folks,

I was just thinking the other day (dangerous for me) . About how much my two tanks use in electricity bills every quarter. I only have a 29 gallon and a 10 gallon so I dont think that it will be that staggering, but what about these guys that have massive tanks or have severe MTS problems. Their bills must be massive.

What do you guys reckon?

Mmmmmmmmm not sure either, i have a 90 litre, and 180 litre, ive yet to get my 1st electric bill since ive had these 2 tanks...lol

My electricity bill is around £200 a quarter for running 9 tanks plus all the normal household stuff.

My electricity bills are always a lot higher in winter (duh) but sinceI have had the tanks they are a LOT more higher

mine was only £55 for the last quarter and the one before was £52 or something.

i was just thinking cause i read a thread earlier on and this guy had a 365g tank and would need 3 or 4 heaters for it, plus a couple of filters, that must make you leccy sore.

I made a Database that I can work all the costs out in as I run just over 30 tanks. It works a treat but when it gave me the actual costs of my hobby for the year Well lets just say I don't use it anymore
