Electric Yellow N Electric Blues

hi, im thinkin of gettin african cichlids 4 a tank that i am thinkin 2 buy. I just wanted 2 know if the electric yellows n electric blues grow to the same size. What is there maximum size and what is the minimum tank size 2 house 2 of these fish. And are they omnivours or carnivours. thank u 4 n e responses.

Its all a personal preference. I believe the grow to about 4-6 inchs? I think your looking at this the wrong way. You should get around 5 or more should be better then two. The tank size should be about 30 gallons is sufficient for your load. I have never had these fish before so i cant tell you for sure but i think this will get you started.

The size of tank you want to keep them in can affect which type would be better. 'Electric Blue', if we're even talking about the same fish, is much more aggressive then 'Electric Yellow'. No matter what size tank you go with though, you should be able to fit at least 6 specimens in.
