What are good Electric Yellow Cichlid tankmates?(besides other cichlids)

Ive just found out Plecos are good as long as they are big enough not to be picked on.. Thats all i know of..

IMO nothing other than other Mbuna or Aulonocara. Labs are less aggressive by Mbuna standards but are not appropriate for the general community tank.

mine are in with fire mouths and rams, and get on fine, but there deff not a community fish, i think mine only get on, as there are loads, of caves, and hiding spots so there not competing for space

Most of the synodontis catfish species will work with Mbuna. Common, Sailfin and Bristlenose Plecs will also work.

Bear in mind that common plecs reach 12" and sailfin's reach 18". BN's stay at about 5-6"
