Electric drill noise

Hi Guys, I,m wanting to mount my CO2 kit on the brick wall behind my tank and I was concerned about the vibration and noise hurting the fish. Has anybody ever drilled into brick or concrete near a fishtank? Anything I can do to protect the fish while I do it? Thanks.

shouldn't be a problem. as long as no dust etc falls into the water, then there shouldnt be a problem

there was a fish farm in singapore (Qian Hu Fish Farm), who imported 4000 high finned loaches (dun ask me what they are) for a cool 400k and after they got them they started building tanks and one by one all died and it was later discovered that it was due to the noise..

so what did they do with them untill they got the tanks ? and were they near the drilliing?
