yo guys i have a pair ebr male female

i been told by a few lfs that its rare to get a female ( UK ) and they are worth breeding ive also been told by 1 lfs that they are cheap as chips

k my question is anyone ave experance with electric blue ram that could put some light on the matter, im gona try breed them anyway as they av already spawned in my comunaty tank

Well they often sell at something around £25 a pair in my local stores

If you are serious about breeding them, then the first thing is to give the pair a tank of their own.
Make sure the water chemistry and temperature are as near to ideal for the species as you can manage. Condition the pair with plenty of frozen food (not live .... infection risk) as well as dried food. Wait for nature to take it's course, and then see how good parents they are. Lots of cichlid pairs take several attempts to need to learn how to do it properly and to look after the fry well.

yea im gona set up a seprate tank just for them im running around my lfs atm picking up bits and bobs like brine shrimp hathery and worm culture seems alot ppl spawning discus in my area loads places sold out of hatcherys lol

anyways thnx again ill let u know how it goes in a few weeks
