Electric Blue Dempsey

I am just sitting here already thinking of what to put in my 55 gal tank that i just took down. I took it down b/c I am going to be moving a couple times here in the next year, and I don't want to have the hassel of moving the tank that many times.

I am really leaning towards a tank with a couple electric blue dempseys. I searched the internet and found a few articles on them, and I was just wondering if anyone on here has any. If so could you give me some information about them, or what luck/bad luck you have had with them. Even pictures of yours. I think they are a beautiful fish and I think 2 would do good in a 55 gallon tank.

ive got one, and had him for about 6 months. great fish, very slow grower, and they tend to be less agressive than a standard JD, but he can hold his own against my green terror. im not sure abuot a 55 for life, but since they are slow growers that would be fine for a long time.

They are great looking fish but from everything i've read they are apparently quite prone to illness/disease and sensitive to water parameter changes. Should be no problem if added to an established tank rather than a new setup.
