Ehem 2213 After Power Outage

An Eheim 2213 is not self priming, so does that mean it won't start after the power comes back on after a power outage?

Prime it manually and make sure there is no air lock (move the canister left to right on an angle)

I know how to start it manually, but it's pretty hard to do this when I'm not there. I guess that make these classic Eheims pretty useless and it makes me wonder why people are still buying them.

is the power actually back on? or are you just asking whether it will resume its job when the power comes back on?

I don't see what the problem is. If it was running correctly when the power went off, then of course it will start again when the power returns. Almost all of my Eheims are "Classic"'s, some over 20 years old, never have any problem with them at all.
