Just ripped out the internal juwel filter and set up eheim external
How long should i leave the juwel sponges in the new filter for?

Was your juwel filter already cycled?

If so, i'd leave them in for 4 - 6 weeks to be sure.

If not, you don't have to put them in the new filter at all.

yeah fully cycled
Just that i really had a hard time getting them all to fit in and it's probably reduced the water flow a bt
