Hey guys just bought one of these fellas off of scouse_andy, cant wait too get it set up!!
anyone got any views on this filter??

all I need now is a hood and a light an I can set up the 183 litre tank!!

its worthwhile buying the Eheim Double Tap-Connectors as this will help when doing filter maintenance.

its worthwhile buying the Eheim Double Tap-Connectors as this will help when doing filter maintenance.

The 2213 classic should come with the double tap connectors, at least mine did anyway.

Only been using the pump for about a week so cant really comment on it as yet

hmmm defo didnt get any double tap connectors but im pleased with what I did receive from Andy.

Will look into getting them asap!!

doh.. i forgot to mention that I have a 2211 and am very pleased with it. If I was to advise one thing it would be to cover the inflow pipe with a sponge. This will act as aditional mechanical filtration and help prolong intervals between filter maintenance. Maybe I'm just spoiled with my other eheim, but filter maintenance on the classics isnt as straight forward. Hence my recommendations for the tap connectors. Even then i still give the filter a 9/10.

I also have en eheim 2324 and am also very pleased. I have yet to find a disgruntled Eheim owner - aside from the initial outlay of money that is
