Eheim 2217 online manual?

Hello all.

I haven't posted in a long time, but I just bought a used 2217 for $35. I way excited to use it on my mbuna tank, but I've only had HOB filters in the past. Does anyone know if there is a manual online that I can refer to as I set it up.

Also, the media is old and grimy, in fact it was previously used on a salt water aquarium. What kind of special measures should I take to clean it up? Do I need to get new media for it? If so is there a cheap DIY media for these filters?
