Eheim 2213 Classic Question

Hello

Just a quick question on this. I have a second hand ehiem 2213 classic on a standard 3ft tank. I'm not sure about the flow rate. The spray from the spray bar comes to about halfway across the width of the tank. Now compared to the internal fluvals I'm used to using, this seems a bit weak. Am I worrying about nothing or does it sounds like there's a blockage somewhere?

Sounds fine to me.

If you want the same style of flow as an internal you would have to remove the spraybar and have the outlet pipe pushing water directly into the tank.

One of the extrnal filters on my 55G is a 2213 classic - the return never exactly 'sprays' - much weaker than I though it would be, but totally normal. Has always been like that since new. The return on my 2217 is signifcantly better - definitely sprays! So, completely normal 2213 by the sounds of it

cheers people. I was just getting a bit worried. I've managed to increase the flow a bit by taking the pressure of the pipes where they come into and go out of the tank and all seem to be happy
