Hi all

I have been planning to hopefully getting a bigger tank in the future,(but for the time being i have a 20 gal),i was interested in getting a eheim 2213 external filter, would this be to big to run on a 20 gal tank?
The intention is to run this along side my other filter for a few months with the hope of upgrading to a larger tank, which therefore i can move the filter over, would the bio load still produce enough to start it cycling?

:thanks:

Shouldn't be a problem, your main concern would be excessive water flow. Make sure to get it with the double taps, you can control flow with these, and it makes maintenance much easier.

i was running one of these fliters on my 23 gallon tank,
but i sold the filter because i was sick of the truggle to get the thing started :(
