Eheim 2028 Blowing Bubbles

hi, i own a eheim 2028.

after replacing the filter floss in the top layer yesterday, my tank is full of tiny air bubbles that are coming from the output pipe.

every now and then i hear the filter make a bubbling sound and then loads of bubbles come out the pipe.

i have tried shaking it a little to remove the air but seems to be constantly getting air trapped inside and i thought it would of settled down by now.

any ideas?

How long has it been running? It can take upto 24hours to clear air from filter media. It it has been running longer than this, then it is likely that one of the seals have given up, and need replacing. If this is the case, look for any pitting on all the seals. Take each seal off, and apply some Vasaline to each. This will shure up the seal while you get seplacement parts in
