Well I wal the neighbors dogs, and they have two fish tanks. I'm pretty sure the owner of the fish knows absolutely nothing about fish. I'm sure he means well but the fish are suffering. I don't know how to tell him that his fish are going to die. Well he has like an 8 gallon tank with: 4 corydoras, 3 mollies, 4 danios and a black finned tetra. The other tank is probably about 3-4 gallons. In this one he has: 1 danio, 2 glofish, 3 corydoras, and one HUGE Gourami. He is WAY overstocked and I don't know what is going to happen to the one particular molly I am worried about. His mollies had fry like 4 months ago. 3 survived. 3 male, one female. The female has bred with her brother. And she is still quite small. Will she survive the birth? She is not even an inch long. And also two of his danios are pregnant. Should I discreetly take some of his fish? I'm afraid to confront him about them. Please help!

I dont think its right that you take the fish behide his back... The same has happened with my neighbour and i just told him that he need to get shot of some of his platties fry. i offered to take them and the lfs does buy or willing take them off you for free and he said okay he will think about it. maybe you could do the same with some of the mollies.

Also maybe mention that he needs to get a bigger tank or sell some fish because the tanks are going to kill the fish if not changed. Not harsh but putting the right point across i think.
