eggs??

I have posted this in the cold water section as well, but I think there are probably more folks that read this section. SO, I have these eggs on a plant out in my pond. Not sure what they are... I have snails, frogs and fish in there, plus whatever else nature adds to the pot. Anyone have any ideas?

Yep, a few apple and pond snails, along with a ramshorn I found last week.

They are pond snail eggs I believe

Those are it! But I thought pond snails were the tiny things that hitch rides on plants. These look too big to come from them!

They have to be pond snails....ramshorns lay them under water and they come out small and grow to be larger eggs so they are pondies

What kind of snail is it that lays a "c" shaped clear thing that has little white eggs in it? That's what I thought pond snail eggs were...

Well...in this thread, which has a picture that looks just like yours, they are referred to as "Mystery snails". Or do the eggs look the same?

And if I'm not mistaken, Apple Snails, and Mystery snails are the same...so I'm betting Apple snails.

Looks like applesnail (mystery snail) eggs to me. I have had several of these clutches inside the hoods on my tanks and they hatched great.

Most snails don't even harm fish but they will nibble on dead ones...
