Im taking it into my Local store to rehome this week as my current set up isnt large enough. a friend gave me the tank her office had on the counter, it was a 3 gallon and it was housed with a Neon and a platty. I put them in a 10g and have been looking for a 50g+ on marketplace until my local store said they would take it.How big is your tank?
Comet Goldie’s need to be in a pond or tank larger than 50g in order to thrive.
The platty died a few days after I brought them home while I was cycling my 10g getting it ready to transfer everyone over. What happened to the platy?
I had to remove all my gravel as the eggs were stuck and wouldn't vac off, I was planning on switching to sand substrate this week so I figured just remove the gravel and clean the tank and do a water change.Maybe goldfish eggs but she must have been bursting to shed them without a male.
Can we get some pictures of the fish?
