Eggs!

Hi my male had about 40 eggs in his nest but today there was about 5.I saw him putting his mouth in the nest and taking them.So took him out and am now trying a pair of vt's.Im hoping to get a new female(any exept vt).The female is in the chimney and the male in the tank.The male is a yellow vt but hes from lfs so have know idea what background hes from.Probably end up with every colour of the rainbow lol.Have i dont the right thing by taking him out? I hope i get more eggs this time.If i do get any lol.Oh and can you feed the fry liquifry? I know live foods are better but havn't got a culture going.What it do for the mean time?Thanks!

good question! sorry I can't help but I'm binging this back up to the top in hopes that someone else would know.

u can feed fry liquifry and baby brime shrimp (only when they are a reasonable size to eat Baby brime shrimp.). i feed my fry cushed flakes they love it. they eat all of it.

liquifry is good but most people tend to put way to much and end up with worms just be careful.
