I've been thinking, what if we'd removed all the fishes from our tanks, and leaving it for awhile, would we actually see baby fishes miraculously appearing?

There might be eggs deposited in all sort of places, that have not been found out and eaten. Might give this a try.

Has anyone found this out? :)

When i keept livebearers this happend to me.
I was redoing the whole room, so everything had to come out, my 55g was the last thing so i drained the water out and just enough water was left to cover the gravel and UGF, well as i took the gravel out i then ripped out the UGF and found like 1" platys and mollys under. i couldnt belive it.

Hi Kribs.
My current batch of fry were found swimming in the gaps of my gravel one day.
I'd say try it if you can, you just never know.
