If it is dwarf gouramis, then you can tell by their colour. The male will have very bright colourations while females will be pretty dull in colour. These guys build bubble nests that float under some floating plants and lay their eggs inside the bubbles. For angelfish, there is no exact way to sex them until they breed. The males will have a more pointed breeding tube while the female's will be larger.

If you suspect eggs from the gouramis, then the male should have built a bubble nest and guarded the eggs afterwards.

Angelfish usually lay eggs on a flat surface like a leaf or the side of the glass. I don't think your angels are old enough for that. My angel eggs sink to the bottom. My pair formed when they were about 6-8 months but did not start laying eggs till a year ago. I notice my male is bigger than the female and has more of a bubbled head. And yes, the male has a thinner tube that is more pointed, and the female has a thicker, stubbier one.
