I got mine from here:

My LFS sells it now for the same price, but this is still good if you can't get it.

Great minds must thinkaike - found this and ordered some earlier today :good:

Another question
why do you use eggcrate ?? is it not possible to use say rubber grid matting which can be bought easily (doormats at Wilkos)
????? ????? ?????

eggcrate diffusers should be readily available at your local hardware store. no need to pay extra buying it from an aquarium suply retailer.

rubber grid matting wont stand up to the condition of the tank due to the materials, and it may also be toxic depending on the chemical composition of the rubber, as well as any dyes used.
plastic eggcrate is much safer.

in regards to the name. its because it resembles an old egg crate. seems pretty simple to me. lol
