I'm trying really hard to act normal
I told myself I wasn't going to get another betta yet...
I was just looking...
That store never had any unusual colors anyway...
I'm going to wait..
These were what I was saying to myself while I was pacing around the lfs trying to decide what to do. But so the story goes...I couldn't leave him there.

I was sifting through the bettas (just my luck, new ones had come in that day) and didn't see any, so I walked away. Then by fate I looked again, and saw ANOTHER purple one laying on his side. "Oh that's too bad" <-- me talking to myself 
Then "magically" 
he came to life, and would just stop swimming momentarily, and STARE 
at me. But I put him down and began to walk away...the fish 
still looking at me. Like he was staying "I'll live for you" 
. So, I took him home.
I believe the new purple guy is Gweedo...
