Education for Kids!!?

I am proud to say that I have yet another batch of guppy fry! The most exciting thing of all is that my 5 year old son who is obsessed with fish was around to watch!!!!!! He was so excited that he didnt want to go to bed. He stood there and said, "Mummy it looks like she's having a poo, but it's got eyes!!) How cool is that!

LOL! thats what I did when I saw my cories lay eggs for the first time. My boyfriend was on the phone, and I pinched him (a bit too hard I may tell) in the leg to get his attention and then freaked ... he didnt really understand, he was just annoyed I interupted him ... So then I kicked him out of the room, got my mum and we sat in front of the tank for hours just watching it all (Dad shouting at us for having to make dinner and all ... but it was so cool to watch!!! And then 5 days later we woke up to a f lot of fry swimming around in the breeding tank It was great! Almost like the sand was alive *sigh*) ... I still enjoy every minute of watching the egg laying, eggs hatching and fry eating for the first time

I know the feeling my 6YO daughter was quite excited seeing Fiskis (loosly translated from Swedish=Fishie) birth just after New Year. Lots of fun with fry! Congrats!
