I wouldnt want to but out of curiosity,
is there any plants that you could potentially grow in the aquarium that are edible?

I actually eat quite a lot of the "flowers" and plants from my garden which are really tasty and was actually thinking the same thing. Again not sure I would want to but interesting to know. :)

I would tend to see that they other way round. Unless you know for sure assume every plant will kill you if you eat it (or at least make you very sick).

i was looking for a list.... i saw a topic like this on another site i went to just cant find it now.... go for the duckweed

Duckweed, raw on a salad, pretty tasteless.
Bacopa (caroliniana) its kind of lemony.
Limnophila aromatica nice flavour.
And if your lily grows too big you can eat the tuber raw or cooked, haven’t tried that. :)

I was wondering about the Bacopa, so thanks for mentioning it, Liam. I have some emersed growth and you hit the nail on the head with the scent, lemony. It's actually has a pleasant odor and it is something that I could see people eating.

maybe there should be a topic on what aquarium plants taste like :p
