Eco-complete And Trace Elements

Ok, so for my planted tank I am using Eco-complete as the substrate. It says that it has Iron, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulfur and Potassium in the substrate. So my question is will I need to dose trace elements along with the macro nutrients I will be dosing?

I would imagine that eventually I will need to start supplementing trace elements as the plants use up what is in the substrate.

Yes you still need to dose, trace contains a lot more elements than those you have listed.
