first I'm cycling the tank for 2 weeks...it has bio wheel filtration and a aqua clear pump for 02 and bacteria...it has a 2 inch deep sand bed and 2 lbs of live rock...i will add 2 small clown fish later...heater is at right temperature and PH level is sound...am I missing anything?

important question is will the 2 fish survive in it?

yes, you can make it a salt water tank.

No, 2 fish is to many *maybe* one... a clownfish or somthing small, like a goby?

Hi..I agree with Max...a six gallon nano tank is very small and 2 fish might overload the tank unless you get extremely small ones. I think one is safest if you don't want to risk losing everything in a crash. I started a 24 G and a six gallon is gonna need near perfect conditions. As for missing something, you may need 1-3 snails when algae crops. SH

thanks! :)

ok... I have the real ocean water cycling for about 1 week now... should I buy the one clown fish yet? how do i acclimate the fish?

some say to place fish in a bucket with FS water and syphon water to drip from the cycled tank into the bucket... is there another method? thanks?

You have to have the tank fully cycled before you add anything or else you're going to be cycling with fish. Also, unless you're an experienced salt water tank keeper then I'd suggest you get something bigger. Small salt water tanks are really hard to keep. I'd advice going into something along the lines of a 29 gallon as a starter tank. If you are really experienced in salt water tanks then I'm sure someone else can help you with your questions. ;)

Also, in a 6 gallon you'll most likely only going to be able to keep ONE small fish. You might want to ask if you even can keep anything in Marine and Reef Chit Chat if you haven't already...or in Saltwater fish.

You might want to add more rocks. I beleive the rule is 2 lbs of live rock for every gallon. Also add a powerhead in there & a heater. You might want to remove the bio wheel also. No need for the bio-wheel since you have the Live rock & I assume you are using Live sand also? I also added Bio-Spira live bacteria mix. It will help in cycling your tank. I had to wait for a month to have my tank cycle. I have a Eclipse System 12 (12gal) that I'm using as a FOWLR /LS tank. I had to put 18lbs of LR & 20lbs of LS in my tank. I removed the bio wheel. I decided to chuck the original pump/biowheel unit & made a fuge out of a AC300. On a 6gal you should only keep 1 fish or if you can find small types of fish maybe 2, but 1 is ideal. Bio load is the main thing here. You do not want to over load. Get some cleaners like hermit crabs & turbo snails & cleaner shrimp. Those will help clean up the tank & avoid any Nitrite/Nitrate/ammonia spikes. Don't know how hot it is where you live, but also keep track of your evaporation. I usualy top off 1 cup of R/O water every 2-3 days depending on how hot it is. Since it's a small tank you might want to do water changes every week. Get a good test kit & watch your water params. It can change from day to day on smaller tanks. Another option you can also look at is lighting. Good lighting can promote growth of coralline algae on the rocks. You will have to look at retrofit for your Eclipse 6. Just be paitient & wait for your tank to cycle. Have fun & enjoy your new tank.
