I'm after a nice grass to go in my tank foreground. I've got about 1.5 WpG and dose with Seachem Flourish Excel.

Would you recommend Pygmy Chain Sword (E.T.) or Brazilian Micro Sword (L.B.)? Or even something else similar.

Any advice much appreciated!

i would go for the tenellus but there is also Sagittaria subulata which i personally like

Yet more choice??!

Haha, why do you like it? Is it hardier?

(Edit: some sources say it can grow right up to the surface? what's your experience? I'm after something that stays short, 3" max)

I've had some luck with Lilaeopsis mauriatus. It supposedly is more designed for lower light levels, not that 1.5WPG is especially low and you're doing CO2. E tenellus will work too.

Haha, well i just put tentative bids on ebay on a batch of echinodorus and a batch of lilaeopsis, and won both!

I'll put them both in and just see what happens i guess!

hi, please let us know how they get on. i'm looking for a small foreground carpet plant, and Lilaeopsis mauriatus sounds ideal.

cheers :good:
