Hi guys
how well do echinodorus handle repotting? I will be remaking my middle tank in autumn, to replace it with bigger one, and would like one of these plants in there. But until then, my lovely gardening snail brotia herculea is there, and given what it did with other plants, I am not even attempting to buy one and placing it in. So I was thinking, getting 3l jar, putting sand, same substrate as will be in the tank, and placing it on a windowsill, maybe with some root tablet.
And then taking it out 2 months later.
Do you think it is a viable way how to pregrow this plant for the tank? Also how often would I have to change water. I have another 3l jar with substrate with anubias in it and some java fern, and I change the water when I remember like once a month, and put in some fishtank water.
