Eating Their Babies

new to tropical fish


Platy has just had babies and thy are eating them, managed to catch 3 in a net what do I have to do to save them?

no shows how much i know about these fish, had them for about 3 months thought a few times she was due babies but then nothing - looks like they were eaten too.

All we have is a 4" square fish net which 4 of them are now in, the rest are now dinner

all shops are now shut so can't do nothing tonight.

what should I do or is it just a case of letting them back into the water and letting nature take its way

well if u have a seperate bowl thats large fill it with the tank water and put the babies in for the night. then tomarrow buy a breeder net or a new fry tank. good luck with the babies
