Eating Fish

I dont think so. Mainly due to the chemicals in the water. Most of the water additives say not fit for use with fish for human consumption. I was wondering the same about the cats. I am sure they would like a fish to eat..

Hm i don't think it would be that safe, i've used medicines on my fish before in the past that state stuff like "do not use on fish which may be consumed at any point", you don't know what chemicals have been used on the fish before it came into you care so its not something i would really advise unless you have raised the fish from a fry born in your tanks and know exactly what the fish has come into contact with during its lifetime.

Plenty of people who have fish that get just too big do (eg Pacu).

I often tell my partner how discus and angel fish are a deep fried delicacy when freshly netted. Still doesn't believe me, nor does she like the idea of raising angel fry for lunch.
